The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs was announced in 2017 at Gamescom, which happens in August, before being released in November. It’s unclear when EA may be officially announcing Discover University. The Sims 4 Discover University may not have the same name, but EA also did this with The Sims 4‘s animal expansion, calling it The Sims 4 Cats and Dogs and not just The Sims 4 Pets. The Sims 2 and The Sims 3 got university expansion packs called University Life. They have been asking for Sims 4 university DLC for some time now, saying that while it’s been great going to weird towns like StrangerVille or going off to tropical islands in Island Living, what they’d really like to do is send their Sim children off to university. While The Sims 4 Discover University expansion pack hasn’t been officially announced, many Sims 4 players are excited about the leak. The Sims 4 players on PS4 and Xbox One will likely have to wait until the end of November or early December to play it. The November 15 release date is likely for the Windows PC and Mac version of the DLC. The listing says that The Sims 4 Discover University expansion pack, or expansion pack eight as it is also called on the device, will be released on November 15, 2019.
